Overview

Client is seeking a highly experienced Mid-level Scrum Master to support multiple Agile teams in a dynamic enterprise environment. The role requires strong facilitation, mentoring, and delivery-focused leadership across teams with varying Agile maturity. Success demands emotional intelligence, influence without authority, and a servant-leader mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide two or more Agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, and XP practices.
  • Facilitate ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Apply Agile techniques (user stories, story mapping, ATDD/TDD, pairing, continuous integration) and maintain information radiators and metrics.
  • Remove/escalate impediments and foster a culture of self-organization and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Agile leaders to evolve enterprise practices; mentor junior Scrum Masters.
  • Balance framework adoption with team autonomy; ensure adherence to risk, compliance, and control standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and 4+ years on Agile teams (including 2+ years as a dedicated Scrum Master);
or 8+ years combined experience with the same Scrum Master minimums.
  • Proven facilitation, team coaching, and multi-team delivery ownership.
  • Experience leading Agile initiatives across technical and cross-functional settings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Design Thinking and Lean principles.
  • Experience in at least two tech-focused roles (e.g., developer, QA, BA, UX, PM).
  • Background in digital product delivery and Agile transformation; strong communication and influence in matrixed environments.

Additional Information

  • Onsite presence is required (this is not a remote role).
  • Occasional early-morning hours may be needed to support teams or stakeholders.
